No position updates when dragging a marker

Android - Google Maps (did not try others yet)

It is possible to mark a marker with draggable = true. The marker can be dragged as expected. However, there does not seem to be a way to get the new position as the marker is being dragged.

If there is a way, it would be nice if this can be documented or if you could point me to the documentation. Otherwise it would be nice if this can be added
