Repeater element breaks the page it is placed in

The moment I add a Repeater element in any page in my wordpress site, when i go to the url of that page the "There has been a critical error on this website." error shows up and wont let me open my page. I can still see everything in my edit page interface. The second i delete the repeater and save the page, everything goes back to normal. Any ideas?

This is often related to your memory limit. Please try increasing the amount of PHP memory on your site - we recommend at least 512M PHP memory when working with Oxygen.
