Control DTR and RTS to enter bootloader?

Does your program automatically control DTR and RTS pins to enter bootloader mode?

Is it common to use rs-232 signals to run the reset and isp pins? Not a bad idea but I haven’t seen that before.

Yes it is common. Of the "Similar Projects" that you listed, about half have this feature. But none of them had support for LPC845.
So I added the isp-entry control in PR #10 (optional of course) based on code from libhal/nxpprog.
It works for me!
