Optimize tutorial rendering

This includes diff transforming (fast I think?), syntax highlighting (slow?), and rendering templates (fast?). Could probably bring back caching of some kind. It would be really nice if we could automatically detect cache invalidation and not require the user to pass `-c` whenever things can be loaded from cache.
