Impossible to find the Inkscape extension, here or at http://www.taumeta.org

The link given at taumeta.org gives only 1 file, but the page mentions 3 are needed... Is there a way to put everything on GitHub, so that all your work can be revived ?

Disclaimer: This pattern is exactly as it is written in the book from 1917.
To actually make the shirt, the author assumed that you know to do the
following: adjust the size of the neck to fit you, extend the back center
seam of the bodice to allow an overlap for buttons and buttonholes, then
create a neck facing or collar, and create a waist band.

Great, thanks a lot ! I already made a first trial, but I get an error.
I'll have to check this more thoroughly, but if you have an idea of the
cause :

Traceback (most recent call last): File "shirt_waist_allington.py", line 477, in <module> effect.affect() File "/usr/share/inkscape/extensions/inkex.py", line 215, in affect self.effect() File "shirt_waist_allington.py", line 149, in effect b2 = patternPoint(B, 'b2', down(b1, front_waist_length)) #A NameError: global name 'down' is not defined

To which Python version is your code intended ?

Hi Yann,

Python isn't seeing sewing_patterns.py as a python library. The
sewing_patterns.py file is in the correct directory otherwise the .inx file
would have generated an error.

Were the file properties of sewing_patterns.py set to executable?
Are you on Mac, Linux or Windows?
On Linux: sudo chmod +x sewing_patterns.py
On Windows: no command needed
On OSX: chmod +x sewing_patterns.py

Let me know if this works!

First of all, many thanks for your hard work and for share it free ! Amazing.
I was working in web development, but aging, here in portugal means less work.

So, I'm learning drafting in scool of arts (CEARTE.PT) and how to assembly the pieces to make from the scratch simple projects as skirts and blouses to a more complex as jackets.

In the past I was working with illustrator and INKSCAPE for drawing, so I'm looking for a transition from web design to drafting sewing projects.

I discover your work and I will like to learn more from you, because I'm not a programmer.
