Chrome Update no longer works

Running sudo docker exec --user=root chrome-nordvpn update externally no longer works.

" E: The repository 'https://dl.google.com/linux/chrome/deb stable InRelease' is not signed "

running an key update using the following does not work

"wget -q -O - https://dl.google.com/linux/linux_signing_key.pub | sudo apt-key add"

Warning: apt-key is deprecated. Manage keyring files in trusted.gpg.d instead (see apt-key(8)).
