Develop a conceptual relation to reputation systems research

I believe that the issue monetary transactions vs. complex barter transactions on a conceptual level (and not only) is pretty much equivalent to the issue of (multi-)dimentional reputation systems and liquid democracy. I think this relation deserves a thought before delving into the experimental design for #16.
