- My request extends the functionality of Ocular in a meaningful way.
- I've used the search and this has not been requested before.
Description
When using a single account on a machine with the current ocular version and then on an older ocular version where the data schema was different the app probably won't load or at least the behavior is undefined.
It's a rare edge-case but possible, as breaking data-schema changes are seldom.
Solution
Show a warning if the client is too old to force the user to update the app before continuing.
