Turbo controllers should always start in the off state

We've noticed that the turbo controllers are returning to their previous state after a power outage. This is bad because after a power outage we want these guys to stay off.

That isn't a product of the agent. Is there a setting within the controllers for what to do after a power outage?

If a power outage occurs, but the computers stay up, the main acq loop is just constantly querying the turbo. It isn't turning them back on automatically if they somehow went off.

When a power outage occurs, is there an error that needs clearing on the pumps?

Automatic startup after clearing an error looks like it's called out in the manual (Section 9.1):

I didn't find any setting to change that would alter this behavior.

The discussions seems to be that there could be two options, having the agent try to turn things off as soon as power is restored or to move turbo power onto an ibootbar option if we have the power available in the outlets.

How hard is a software solution or should be go for the hardware solution?

That sounds tricky, unless we have a reliable detection of a power outage that distinguishes it from a network issue -- we don't want to automatically shutoff the turbos if the network connection drops and reconnects.

If they can be put on an ibootbar that doesn't restore power after an outage, that sounds like the simplest solution.
