Background Push notifications not working as of Android 8.0 #39

Hey man,
just meaning to report that with devices with Android 8.0 onwards, background push notifications are not working at all due to Google's restrictions imposed as of that version.
Will you be working on an update of this library to comply with these new restrictions?
Hopefully, you can take a look into this issue. I'm really stuck trying to find a solution for this with no actual solution as of yet.
