how to backup?

I've been using this app for quite a while, and thus have built quite an extensive book archive. Now I am considering to change phones but I can't seem to make a backup, neither can I find any related file on my device.
the installed Version is 4.2.3 (51)
I know that it is possible as I have done it in the past, but now, when I head over to "management" under the Backup tab I see that my last backup was from June 2023, then it explains that I can backup my data , just click on your preferred way.
My preferred way would be "Local" but there, under backup, is no button to actually make a backup, on the Restore Tab, it says: "You haven't made any backups"
alternatively I'd like to make an online backup but that page just says it is in Active development. and thus not possible.
On the Import page are several ways to import a backup file which is good, but first I would like to export one.
Can Anyone help please.

@osvikvi if you click on Backup and Google drive, it automatically backs up current date (and moves to Google restore tab)

Thanks for the tip, I would have expected such a simple method indeed. I am however logged in with my Gmail account but still it doesn't show me that option.

[EDIT] Nevermind, I logged out and logged in again using the Google option, and now it allows me to do the desired backup.
How long should it take to arrive in Google Drive? I already took two backups, but it is not appearing online.

You won't be able to find it in Google drive directly ... You can only see it in "restore" tab
