🐞 Issue: GitHub Desktop repeatedly loses local repository paths after system restart #1285

Description

The problem

Hy!

On Linux Mint, GitHub Desktop frequently fails to detect previously opened local repositories after a system shutdown or restart. Repositories that were working fine earlier show an error like “Can’t find repository on your system”, even though the folders still exist and have not been moved or deleted.

This forces me to manually locate and re-add the same repository folders again and again, which disrupts workflow.

Kind Regards
Muhammad Farooq
