Possibility to claim PyPI package name

Hi @shelfworthy is there any possibility to claim project name on PyPI. I'm the owner of https://github.com/oscarmcm/django-places and we're having some issue with project names (oscarmcm/django-places#17) do you think its possible to switch owners for PyPI project.
