Description
Hello sharplispers,
My heros! What a cool group of people. Corman lisp and the accompanying IDE are awesome!
I got it up and running on another computer, but the IDE won't work with my second one. The second one has a windows username with Japanese characters, say "のん" for example.
When I fire up the IDE, the following displays in the Lisp Worksheet, and I am forever stuck in debug mode (evaluating ":C" only results in "No restarts available.")
;; Corman Lisp 3.1 (Patch level 2)
;; Copyright ゥ Corman Technologies Inc. See LICENSE.txt for license information.
;; User: のん.
;;; An error of type SIMPLE-ERROR was detected in function SUBSEQ:
;;; Error: Invalid START = 0, END = 130 arguments
;;; Entering Corman Lisp debug loop.
;;; Use :C followed by an option to exit. Type :HELP for help.
Is there any way to remedy this? It seems that other software sometimes doesn't work with windows usernames that are not ascii...
I could just make another account, but I'd like to keep everything together... That said the REPL does work! But the IDE was one big reason for choosing CCL.
I hope I can help the sharplispers some day in some way!
Best,
b3parker
