When I type 1 volt / 0.1 ohm I get = 10 V/Ω [Current] and that's abundantly correct, but I would rather read = 10 A [Current]!
It would be nice if Numbat knew what units are commonly preferred for each dimension, perhaps multiple for the sake of selecting the appropriate SI prefix
I don't think it would be too wise to alter the result unprompted, I think adding a line to the result display should be good enough
Perhaps it would be nice to define what those units are as a user, for example the default distribution wouldn't define a preferred unit for Money but I could set it to give me conversion to EUR every time
>>> 1 volt / 0.1 ohm
1 volt / 0.1 ohm
= 10 V/Ω [Current]
= 10 A
>>> 1 volt / 0.1 ohm to ampere
1 volt / 0.1 ohm ➞ ampere
= 10 A [Current]
>>> 1g * 10000000
1 gram × 10_000_000
= 10_000_000 g [Mass]
= 10_000 kg
This is related to #178, but I guess my request is broader so I made a new issue, feel free to merge them
Thank you for your time
