Adding checkboxes fields to report trigger "Data Set Configuration Error"

Whenever I add a field type checkbox (boolean) to the report, I receive the following error:

Data Set Configuration Error
Data Studio cannot connect to your data set.

Failed to fetch data from the underlying data set

Error ID: 5a727af1

This can be tested with the following report adding the field "Application Submitted"
