pip install ddf_utils gives error

Hi!
I am trying to install ddf_utils, but I get the following error:

note: This is an issue with the package mentioned above, not pip.

I am then running:

pip install ddf_utils --global-option=build_ext --global-option="--curl-dir=my_path_to_libcurl/libcurl"

I get a new error:

  Installing build dependencies ... error
  error: subprocess-exited-with-error

Any idea of how to handle this? :)

Hi, thanks for reporting the issue! Seems that pycurl (dependency of ddf_utils) is not easy to install on some platforms. Would you tell me about your system environment? Including

• your OS and version (e.g Ubuntu 20.04)
• your python version (python --version)
• are you running installation in a virtual env (or conda env) or not?
