thanks for using our code.
To be able to help you, we need more information to try to reproduce the error. On the one hand we need information about your software environment (versions and name of your compiler, GNU Make, LAPACK libraries and MPI libraries). On the other hand, please provide the input for the simulation you want to tun (basically anything in the data-folder and anything regarding the mesh). In addition, please provide the whole screen output, so we can see when this error happens.

Thank you for your apply, Sorry to reply you so late. I can compile it successfully (There are 'mesher, movie and solver' in bin directory). When I enter the 'simulations/lambs' directory, follow the step of 'README', first and second step is successed, but when I write './process.h', ‘core dumped ’ occurred. I don't know if parameters are required. I can not add png in this issue, if it is convenient for you, you can tell me your email. Because i'm a novice

Well, for me, this example works out of the box. Could you please provide the following information:

• Your operating System and version
• Used compiler (gfortran? Intel?) and version
• Used version of Metis (are you using version 4.0.3?)
• Used version of LAPACK (liblapack)
• Used MPI libraries (OpenMPI?) and version
• Terminal output of mesher (you can paste it here and include it in a code environment: https://docs.github.com/en/enterprise-server@2.20/github/writing-on-github/basic-writing-and-formatting-syntax#quoting-code. Ok, thanks. After I saw the version of metis you're using, I already had the feeling, that it is related to this. But I first tried to reproduce the error and get a very similar error when using my setup and only exchanging metis-4.0.3 with metis-5.1.0. So for now, I suggest that you use metis-4.0.3 (http://glaros.dtc.umn.edu/gkhome/fsroot/sw/metis/OLD). We already knew that problems might occur with other versions of metis.
Please let me know whether using metis-4.0.3 helps or not.
