Shortcut to launch activity with parameters

Just as we can manually launch an activity with parameters, it would sometimes be useful to create a shortcut to launch a particular activity with particular parameters.

You can create such a shortcut from a history screen.

Thanks. This (going to the history and long-pressing an entry) is not too easy to discover, so it would perhaps be better to have a "Create shortcut with parameters" option in an activity's menu, or even just document the method in the Launch with parameters screen, or have a "Create shortcut" button on the Launch with parameters screen.
