Description
Calculation of the acceleration factor seems to be rather costly. I need to take another look, but I think we could do fine even with a stride for acceleration factor, or a reduction in the precision here.
In fact, the first half of iterations probably could be done at reduced precision, and then go full precision once we are close by. That could be smoking fast.
