🚀 Feature Request

The latest release of Astro-COLIBRI integrates a direct link to the BLAST page for each of the transients reported to TNS. Details are here: https://forum.astro-colibri.science/t/new-release-astro-colibri-v2-23-0/416

I suggest to add the inverse to BLAST, a direct link to each event in Astro-COLIBRI. The idea is that one can start at either BLAST or Astro-COLIBRI to switch easily between both tools to learn about the transient and the host galaxy...
The links are easy to create: the follow the form https://astro-colibri.com/event:TNS2024ggi , i.e. https://astro-colibri.com/event:TNS followed by the ID of the transient in TNS.

Thanks for contacting us and for linking to our transient data pages. We are excited to see the growing enthusiasm around Blast. We will definitely consider including reciprocal links to Astro-COLIBRI as you suggest.

Also, kudos on using Discourse and encouraging community discussions on that platform. I similarly run a Discourse forum for one of my projects and was considering doing so for Blast, but it looks like you have already created a solution!

(By the way, it's a minor point, but Blast is not an acronym. If you can correct the spelling at some point on Astro-COLIBRI it would be appreciated. You are not alone: everyone seems to be spelling it in all caps so at some point we'll be forced to create a backronym for it anyway 😆)

We'll change the name to "Blast" with our next release (scheduled only be after the summer vacations).

Forum: we are indeed quite happy with Discourse. Lets discuss offline how we can make efficient use of that.
