Which Keras version is supported?

I'm trying to get this to work with Keras 1.0. In the README you mention that neocortex is not compatible with the current version, but i'm wondering which version of Keras is supported? or are there simple modifications to the serialization code that would enable me to use the latest version (assuming i'm only using the layers that are supported by neocortex).

There is some very cool stuff here, a little more info on which version of Keras this last passed on would be very helpful.

A long time has passed without new commits. Are there plans to make this library compatible with the latest Keras version?
