Text containing ANSI escape sequences is not handled correctly, causing distorted display

When pasting text that includes ANSI escape codes into clipse, those codes are not escaped or stripped, resulting in garbled or distorted output in the terminal.

To reproduce

clipse --listen-shell &
echo -e "\e[?1049lHogehoge" | wl-copy
clipse

Apologies for the delay. I can't seem to reproduce this exactly, but using the same command does not add this to the history at all.

Using the command without -e works fine:

What is the desired behaviour you were looking for here? If you are just looking to add this as a literal string that would work without an issue, just don't use the -e flag.

Currently, Clipse handles new line characters (print as \n, ...), so I want Clipse to handle ANSI escape sequences.

I'd like Clipse to either:

1. escape ANSI escape sequences so they are printed as literal text, or
2. strip/remove ANSI sequences before displaying, to avoid corrupting Clipse's layout.

I would like to have in the TUI 'shift+enter' to paste escaped content and 'enter' to copy literal content. Really useful when pasting color codes from terminal commands.
