I think git module needs to do this.

I agree, I am going to reformat that file and change it. I want to
implement a searchCommits through the gitmodule and a searchIssues by
looking in our cassandra DB.

We Also need a way to take the repository name from repo_info in our
cassandra DB and plug that repo name into our getRepoIssues. I can work on
this as well
