  • OKR - Improve Billing for Novaseqs

    # Summary Billing for NovaSeq sequencing is currently a manual heavy and time consuming process that requires manual data-collation for information that is tracked either by PSG or NPG. The main goal of this OKR is to help streamline this process. Current pain points are mostly centred around gathering: Kit versions (v1,v.15), XP/Non-XP, Flowcell Mode (eg. SP300,SP500,S2). # Aims - To significantly reduce report generation to <1h (We think we'll be able to get *much* lower) - To eliminate the need for intervention from Sequencing teams (Tris) - Eliminate need for manual intervention on non-refunded runs. - Ability to drill down through data initially while confidence building # Out of scope - Discussed refinement of capturing Flowcell Mode in initial submission, and ensuring compatibility with read-length. This would improve the flow of side-channel communication, but doesn't impact significantly on billing. - There is no need to maintain tableau as the base for the billing reports - Refunds can be handled manually
