Incorrect behavior for multi-dimensional GX outputs

When reading GX outputs like HeatFlux_st from the GX netcdf output file, the fact that HeatFlux_st is two-dimensional, with dimensions (time, n_species) is not being correctly accounted for. When converting HeatFlux_st to a DataStream, the data for each species should be treated as a separate timeseries.

Hi @nmandell , thanks for using QUENDS and for raising this issue. As you can probably tell, we are still building out QUENDS with more features, and input files with multiple species is a use case we have not yet addressed.

Your suggestion to convert these multiple-species time series into separate DataStream objects makes perfect sense. At this point, our team is fully occupied with making our ensemble methods and transient trimming capabilities more robust. We can keep this issue open, but it may take a while before we get to it. However, if you come up with a way to handle this situtation, please make a pull request and we can either merge it into our code base or add it to a contributed folder.
