Installation and Script Issues on WSL Ubuntu with Python 2

I am unable to install this software using WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux) with Ubuntu, as it no longer supports Python 2. Is there any workaround for this? Additionally, the setup.py script is not running properly and is giving me errors, which I have included below.
