GhostMesh settings are problematic #34
Description
I tried adding the GhostMesh to my Meshtastic channels.
Problems:
- The QR code wants to override all my radio settings, including things like spread and bandwidth. That is not good as it will mess up my ability to communicate on other channels (including the default LongFast channel) due to having weird, nonstandard modem settings. The protocol for GhostMesh should use the default radio settings and just establish a key for the GhostMesh group.
- Trying to punch in the key manually as listed textually in the PDF results in an invalid key that the app will not accept. Probably there was a transcription error when putting the key into the PDF, but I can’t possibly know how to adjust the key to get the right one.
