Incorrect filename behavior on BSD

Hello. I'm using this package on FreeBSD and Slackware Linux.
On FreeBSD I get unexpected file name. For Slackware the commit message is like 20240804014708-new_note.org, but on FreeBSD it writes ../../../../../home/hexagonwin/Documents/Roam/20240804014708-new_note.org instead.

Take a look at #49, I think it should fix it (it seems to fix a similar issue for me).
