FYI, this wouldn't build on Ubuntu without first doing:

sudo apt-get install autoconf

Maybe add it to the list in the apt-get in the readme? I can do a PR just ask.

Same thing with "libtool" right after.

Using Ubuntu 21.04, so this might be why, not certain.
