Support for recovery mode?

Any chance that this library can be extended to support control of the Recovery Mode switch introduced earlier this year?

The feature automatically restarts monitoring when it receives enough data from the sock in a given timeframe. It can be disabled, but is automatically re-enabled on a new session. Remote control of this parameter could be really useful.
