I've never seen a .dsi file in my life, how do I install this to my NAND for installation of TAD files?

A .dsi file is the same as .nds or .srl. You can install it with NTM, though I'd recommend booting it from unlaunch and twilight menu instead.

Yeah I got it figured out a bit and I've tried everything but I get this:

and it doesn't show the .tad file on my SD card that I can install.

I'm so stupid cause I didn't even have the .tad on the SD card. 🤣

When you install unlaunch, you must have the patches enabled. This will allow booting improperly signed apps (ie. dev on retail). Without it everything will crash.

The patches do work since I can confirm my unsigned SRL does work that was built with the NitroSDK that wasn't working on melonds before and could only run via NO$GBA, also I think the TAD I used was just a test, I'll try a real TAD software to see if It does load.

NAND SoundPlayer is a weird app, and I've always had trouble with the home menu auto-deleting it (something must be invalid). It was hard to see the video but it looks like you tried one from TwlToolsRED? Most of the compiled TADs in that repository were intentionally broken, made to test some debugging tools. Generally most dev signed TADs will be tricky to get working, especially those from the gigaleaks. Only the retail firmware and SystemUpdater firmware TADs are truly reliable.

Try installing this dummy TAD as a test. It should work.

I took another look at your video. You are installing to the SD card (hiyaCFW), not NAND. Please change this option to NAND.
