Steps to reproduce issue

  1. I followed following building by source: https://docs.ros.org/en/humble/Installation/RMW-Implementations/DDS-Implementations/Working-with-Eclipse-CycloneDDS.html
  2. Everything compiled fine and I set the env variable: export RMW_IMPLEMENTATION=rmw_cyclonedds_cpp
  3. I start the talker: ros2 run demo_nodes_cpp talker and see it's output
  4. I run the listener: ros2 run demo_nodes_cpp listener and see no output

Expected behavior

See msg arriving in the listener

Actual behavior

Listener hangs

Additional information

When I use export RMW_IMPLEMENTATION=rmw_fastrtps_cpp everything works as expected.
Also I pulled all the repositories to be on the latest humble branches and deleted build/install/log and completely rebuild the workspace to make sure there was no artifact related to that.
