tutorial about how to remove a patch in a third party repo

Right now, I nuke the repository if a patch is not applicable anymore. If not supported, it should just be mentioned I guess. Thx.

This is old but I'm seconding this. I have old patches which I cannot remove, and it's unclear to me even where they're coming from. My approach has been the same: nuke the release repo. Which is non-ideal.

I see a guide on how to port them to a new track, but that's it.

Could we get an explanation of:

• how patches end up getting created
• how to remove them once they're no longer of use

I second this - there is an option git-bloom-export remove but what are the arguments? (And I couldn't figure a current workflow out from the source)

I'm also having this issue. A guide to handling failing patches while running bloom-release and modifying an existing patch will be very helpful.
