An updatable field allowing financial institutions to work through a transaction. Typically seen as pending transactions or hold on funds. 3. Merchant - A non-editable value that holds the name of the institution where transaction originated. 4. "Friendly Name" - An editable field that is the nickname or more recognizable name for the merchant. 5. Amount - can be negative (Debit) or positive (Credit). Non-editable, but could be updated if the status is pending. 6. Notes - An editable field for adding notes, hashtags, emojis, memos, etc 7. Categories - A macro/micro category this transaction fits into, (Utilities > Water, Income > Paycheck, etc). Editable 8. Fund Source 1. When the transaction is a debit, the transaction must show where it pulled the funds, ie "Safe to Spend" or some envelope. 8. Geo information - location where this transaction occurred. editable. 9. Document - Attach a document to the transaction, like receipts, pdfs, etc. editable. Could have a check image already attached. 10. Photo - Attach a photo to the transaction. editable ## Listing: 1. Transactions should be listed in chronological order ## Details 1. Editing the friendly name of the transaction should give to option to permanently keep that name _going forward_ if that same merchant is seen again. 2. Editing the category should give the option to permanently assign that category _going forward_ if that same merchant is seen again.

The sum of money that is "Safe to Spend" - The "Safe to Spend" number is the remaining amount after funds have been divvied up to envelopes. - In all cases where a balance is shown, it is preferable to show the "Safe to Spend" number, and the total available balance is hidden unless requested. - The "Safe to Spend" number can go negative. This means a transaction occurred without a matched envelope to pull from AND all funds are currently in an envelope. - Account balance cannot go negative. - Envelope balance cannot go negative.
