Hey, I'm interested in this one. I've been working on LLM safety and evaluation at 15 Research Lab, plus built SafeClaw which does action-level gating for AI agents - so I know how to handle the tricky parts of letting models query financial data safely.

I can handle the NLP piece and make sure the model returns verifiable answers with proper source attribution. Python's my main language, comfortable with TypeScript too.

@rohitdash08 I can take this with a tight 1–3h deliverable scope.

Plan (first PR):

1. implement deterministic NL parser for date range + category intents (no external paid API),
2. map intent -> audited SQL query layer,
3. return answer with source rows + totals for traceability,
4. add tests for quarter/month/date-range and category edge cases.
