Support for paho-mqtt 2.0

The new library is not backwards compatible and requires changes to code.

Note, take this as an opportunity to see if HiveMQ (assuming they have an MQTT library), ADA Fruit, or some other MQTT library provider might be worth switching to. 

Also see if there is anything in MQTT 5 we should be taking advantage of.
