Description

Ich habe vor kurzem versucht Quasarr über Prowlarr automatisch an *arrs zu populieren. Das Anlegen in Prowlarr funktioniert auch einwandfrei, ebenso wie in den *arrs. Heißt Quasarr als Newznab eingebunden und Verbindung getestet. Kein Problem.

Möchte ich nun aber über "Sync App Indexers" meine Indizes eben übergeben, wird Quasarr nicht übertragen.

Die Logs aus Quasarr und Prowlarr (siehe unten), lassen vermuten, dass Prowlarr bei Übertragung eine Test-Anfrage an den Indexer schickt und erst bei erfolgreichem Test wird der Indexer weiter gegeben. Bei Quasarr scheint die Test-Anfrage von Prowlarr ins leere zu laufen.

@P4cster i took a deeper look at prowlarr.

Integration makes zero sense for Quasarr.

We need the original arr user agent to know which type of search request to fire. Prowlarr support would not only be counter productive - it would not work at all.

Quasarr is still pretending to be a usenet indexer while it is not - it relies on more than just the search phrases from the arr clients.

I will close this as won’t fix.

Core reason is that there are no category ids on the sites Quasarr scraped. It fully ignores the categories you set and instead checks for Sonarr or radarr in the user agent to determine what type of media to look for.
