Way to make data-based gsm calls

Hi all,
I am pretty new to gsm telephony world, and I was investigating whether or not there is a way to dial a data call?
Would be the equivalent AT setting -> AT+FCLASS=0...

Obviously with ofono stack (+bluez, +hFP, +linux and so on)

I was looking for something similar to what is described here:

Either way which OS/platform were you planning to do this on? It might make sense to take this to another issue tracker since this repo hasn't been touched since 2017.
