aluminium-heat-spreader.dxf under the dxf folder can not be opened by autoCad nor other common dxf viewers.

I have the same problem. I use AUTOCAD 2013

We have no problem opening and editing these files using LibreCAD http://librecad.org/cms/home.html, which is free and open source CAD software.
