Sign XMTP client dead end

Current Behavior

I reached a dead end and had to refresh the page when I click cancel when prompted to sign the xmtp client in metamask

Expected Behavior

I should be able to click sign xmtp after clicking cancel

Steps To Reproduce

connect wallet, click initialize client, click cancel

Im not 100% sure what the issue is here, is this using the metamask browser on mobile or am I missing it entirely?

It's working correctly for me on demo.relay.cc and sybil.relay.cc, but not relay.cc
Wait until the big receiver update that's on demo.relay.cc is pushed and come back to this to confirm working when it's on relay.cc.
