Description
Picture this: instead of pushing a cart like in Payload mode, you are escorting a tank that is constantly rolling toward the enemy base like something out of C&C. The tank keeps moving on its own, but it needs three resources: gas to keep it running, steel for upgrades, and oil for special abilities. Your team has to run around the map collecting these resources from scattered nodes while fighting off defenders who are trying to either destroy your tank or cut off your supply lines. The more resources you pump into it, the more awesome it becomes.
This would be absolutely incredible in RE2 because it combines the best parts of escort missions with light strategy elements that actually matter. Unlike typical payload modes where you just stand near an object, this forces teams to spread out and control territory to secure resources, creating multiple simultaneous battles across the map. The constant forward momentum means there's always pressure and urgency, but the upgrade system gives you meaningful choices about how to spend your hard-earned resources.
do you prioritize keeping it fueled, making it TANKIER for the next chokepoint, or saving up for a oil upgrade?
