Hello, can you tell in a simplified way what needs to be done so that the indication and readings from the game go to the indication of the connected board? What files need to be added to the game, and what firmware should be inserted into the board?

Hi,
the question is hard to answer. There are no files to add to the game. The game offers an API that is used by this project. So therefor the trainsimulator-server application connects to this API. The trainsimulator-server then offers a REST API to a client. Within the client you have to setup the connection to the board. In my case in transimulator-ft232h I connect to a FT232h board. For this you need the libraries.
For each device/component on the board you might need additional API. I wrote something for the:

• MCP23017 using I2C github
• Sparkfun 4 digit 7 segment display using I2C github
• Adafruit 24 segment bargraph using I2C github
