Preface:

Since humans are often spread thin on low-population in the later waves. We should determine the number of sigils on map start based on the population after 30 seconds.

Body:

Pick three sigil locations on map start, after 30 seconds, determine the population and sigil count and either keep all 3 sigils or cull the required sigils (We can always keep sigil A, and then remove C then B as needed.)

  • 48 - 64 Players - 3 sigils (16 player difference)

  • 32 - 47 Players - 2 sigils (16 player difference)

  • 1 - 31 Players - 1 sigil (32 player difference)

Other Notes:

Since most players have all the maps downloaded, they will join in quickly. If a map is new, most players will join late, but will also not be familiar with the layout— this will additionally act as a handicap to assist them on their first playthrough.
