Problem using mahimahi to emulate a large capacity link within localhost

Hi, I am trying to use mahimahi to emulate a large link (~700 Mbps UL/DL). I created the corresponding mahimahi trace format (which contains 30 0's for a 720 Mbps link, I believe) and set the link delay to be 80ms. I tried some simple iPerf test inside the emulated link shell and I can only get around 300 Mbps throughput. And if I remove the link delay shell, using 720Mbps traces can yield ~1.3Gbps throughput during iPerf test.

What would be the reason that those throughput values differ so much from the specified mahimahi traces link bandwidth?

May I ask if you have found the reason ? I also had this error when the bandwidth was low
