Not working with latest jQuery

Hi,

I have set this all up as stated in the docs, but I need to use the latest version of jQuery. However, I get the alert telling me that it only supports an older version (quite a bit older!). Any chance we could get this to work with the latest jQuery...or at least not be too version specific.

Hi Michael, have you tried just deleting that "check" for the version of jQuery? maybe it works (the check is just there to make sure that version is compatible)

Ok, I did this, and my AJAX seems to show in firebug with a 200 ok. So that seems like it works. However, I never see the resulting HTML of this page. The action is "submit" and I have a "submit.js.cfm" file with this code:

< cfset pageInsertHTML(selector="##modal", position="before", partial="submit") / >

I looked in the docs, but there aren't really any code examples to know if what I'm doing is correct, so it's dificult to work out if it's a bug.

My partial is named "_submit.cfm".

If i look at the AJAX response, it does not seem to fetch this partial, but in fact the regular view action specified in the controller (but even then, the selector insert doesn't seem to work?). For example, the AJAX gets the "submit.cfm" view instead of the partial as specified.

I know this isn't really the right place to be discussing this (in an issue thread) but I'd really appreciate your help. This plugin looks great but I'm tearing my hair out :)

Did you add the response type "js" to the application? As specified here? https://github.com/raulriera/Remote-Form-Helpers/wiki you can find some examples in there as well.

I also should note, these plugin was merged into the core of wheels a long time ago (or maybe still sits in the 2.0 beta if I am correct) what version of wheels are you using?

It was? Oh! I am using the latest version of CFWheels 1.1.8. In the docs for CFWheels it refers to your plugin...which is why I am using it I guess, but if I don't need to that'd be great. Any doc that refers to this?

Yes, I was specifying JS in the init()
