nix

looking to swap asdf for nix. ideally, nix will  handle linux and macos systems (and windows via wsl). we want:
* a bootstrapping script to install nix
* a base config that installs direnv, neovim, and wezterm (maybe home manager?)
* flakes, etc. for per-project changes.


need to spec this out (mece, scr).
