Cant add as a bridge

Hi, i am not able to add Bridge4KT as a new Bridge to Homekit on my iPhone. It says (in German) "Cant make a connection to this device". Do you have any idea? I tried it several times with different new generated keys etc … Thanks

Everythin in my setup (iOS, Zway etc are on the latest stable release versions)

I have an equal problem:

1. After downloading the app, i could not add the app to my installed apps.
   Solution: I have copied the plugin-files manually into the directory: /opt/z-way-server/automation/userModules/Bridge4KT
   After this i can open the app get the ID for homekit.
2. After adding as new device, i got the following error:
   Device could added
   Failed with OSStatus code 200500 (internal server error)

I have the newest z-way version 3.1.4 and IOS 14.6

Could please help?

Hi!
There's been a breaking change in the HomeKit server implementation introduced with z-way 3.1.4.
Therefore the app from the z-way appstore will fail to install. Behind the scenes there's a javascript runtime error...
Unfortunately I can't do anything to solve this.

Based on some comments in the HomeKit script I yet have the impression that this change has been reverted; so this app should become operational again with the next release of z-way-server.

To be used until then & as a workaround - initially for myself - I updated the files here in the repository to overcome this breaking change. I guess, that's why @drheck managed to successfully install the app by hand.

To debug the error @drheck is facing, I'd need an extract of your /var/log/z-way-server.log file as support...

I found 'something' that looks like a bug in the heating module. As I don't have one of those devices running currently, I'm not able to test this modification. Yet you could give it a try...

i have installed the new sources. No i could add your app as a bridge in homekit.
But there are only rollershutter/window covering bridged.

Hello Peter,
I've updated the device definitions to detect the Fibaro DS2.
It should be enough to restart your server; if detection still fails, you need to download devices.json to update your definitions locally.

Sorry for the inconvenience & thanks for your patience.
The latest fix was incomplete - unfortunately. Should be done now.
This yet helped to find a bug in the implementation of another device; fixed as well.
