Actually i suddenly had an idea for a next video, that’s a response to this piece that claims age verification to facilitate social media bans is a form of mass surveillance: https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2026/mar/02/ban-children-social-media-biometic-data-surveilled
My criticism of the piece is that it assumes age verification can only be done through ID verification, when technologies already go for beyond that. But may people don't know the tech.
I plan to reach out to the writer of the piece to let her know, plus also reach out to kID, the age assurance company, if they'd like to be featured for a brand deal. If not, we will refer to them in generics without stating name.
