[Idea] In-app Browser Social Media Apps #96

Description

@natashaannn

In-app browsers allow us to change the HTML of a web application, to scrape and to automate.

We could hence change the UI and UX of a social media applications and other applications to make it safer for adolescents.

There are already some apps that do this such as WallHabit, an app that allows you to block short-form content on YouTube and Instagram.

We could also consider creating a browser that scans the html of a site to check if it is appropriate for the age of the child, caching the result, and also saving it to a central DB, before deciding whether to serve it up to the child or not. In fact, an AI agent could be used as an intermediary to do this scan, where it assumes the persona of the child at that age and comments if it is appropriate. It would be best first for us to research and come up with criteria on what factors make a certain app or website safe/unsafe for kids. (Link to issue)

In cases where it is difficult to verify, we can also utilize Verifiable Parental Consent, where the parent verifies if they allow it for their child or not.
